C6 headlight convert C5 ?
The Concept, C 60 light kit pictured below ,that was mentioned earlier, has been discontinued. But if the guy decides to make them again. I wouldn't buy them unless he finally makes a lens for the kit.
[/QUOTE]Thanks for showing the Tigershark/C60 combo. A few years ago, I was strongly considering this combo with the c60 lights & hood, but the lights weren't DOT certified with covers on them. Because of this, you had to fab your own covers and come up with a way of venting & sealing them. Now after seeing that pic, I can definitely be very happy I didn't do this to my C5.
Of course, its to each his own, and I'm sure its owner likes it. Its just not for me.I know a guy that bought the (Ecklers?) flush mount headlight kit, and the darn things leak and fog up in rain even with the fans in them to keep the lenses clear. Pure trash to stick on a quality car. At least he didn't have to mod the car when he put it back to stock. He's not to tickled about the $500 he wasted on them either.
