First of all...HOTT pics. Where did you find them and do you have anymore info about them? I love vettes in general, popup or no popup, but that c6 lights mod does look sweet. Any more info would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I took those pics at a car show I attended some time ago, I kept them because I thought the idea of putting the C6 lights on a C5 was pretty good. I don't know who's car it was, sorry.
There are other options
But when it comes to non popups.
The lens has to be made very well without flaws for it to work correctly.
I have not found a good solution to the non pop up without lots of modification.
Thoose looks like Callaway lights made in Switzerland not Sweden ;-)
they are e-marked halogen and you can get them in CF and you need to cut out a little bit of bodywork to install them.
Here you are http://www.corvettetotal.ch/site/zub...tail.asp?ID=34
Red car does not have Lingenfelter lights either. These are, and are actually Ferarri 550!
Some of those look great, especially the Lingenfelter package.
However, I like the C5 for what it is. The C5 does not have those lights, or radio controls on the steering wheel or a GPS. As much as I love all those features, I love the C5. I would not consider adding these to my C5 anymore than I would on a C2.
I build the headlight in my car. As I could not find anything that I like either. But what alot of work I have about $1,000 in parts and $4,000 in shop labor time. I did have to modify the front bumpercover. The C6 lights and the nsx lights both look great. If you want it done do it right and the way you want it the first time. I have had alot of people call about my light that have the fixed light that are out noe and the all are unhappy with them. hope it help and good luck.
Ther are picture of mine in my photos and on my website www.customshop.org

these were the only pics you have of the lights on your site. would love to see more!
Which are the headlights that the below corvette has? I'm guessing they are "not callaway" but then what? I'm confused, but that happens pretty easily.
Yes indeed, this is a C12 Callaway.
The other black car with flush lights made in Switzerland, and not Sweden, are NOT Callaway lights.
You'll have to pardon my screwed up multi posts, as my computer is going bonkers.
Whether or not Callaway manufactures this light kit, you can purchase this light kit through Callaway.
I mention this so anyone interested in purchasing that light kit will know who to contact.
if anyone's interested, I purchased the light kit in the above picture from Callaway & they will run you a little under $3200
The Concept, C 60 light kit pictured below ,that was mentioned earlier, has been discontinued. But if the guy decides to make them again. I wouldn't buy them unless he finally makes a lens for the kit.
I like the "hidden" popup headlight style, but the quality of light (beam, color, intensity) just isn't there on the stockers, thats for sure.
What I'd really like to see and shouldn't be too hard to make would be white LED headlights as a drop in replacement for the plastic housing.
If you've used one of the latest SureFire LED flashlights, you know how crazy powerful they can be. Toyota already proved it feasible on cars back in 03, and not only are they extremely bright but they are very light and compact and use very little power. I believe the Audi A8 has replaced all lighting including the headlights with Luxeon LEDs for either this or next model year.
Cheezila, you mentioned that you purchased the Callaway headlight kit. Do you have any pictures of the install? I would be interested in seeing what the end result looks like without the new nose.
