Just got this same work done. Here's the pricing breakdown:

(2) Front Rotors $28 each at NAPA
(2) Rear Rotors $26 each at NAPA
HAWK HPS Pads Front & Rear $160 at local speed shop
Install labor (1.5 hours) including fluid, bleeding, etc. $97.50

TOTAL: $365

Obviously the pads were the priciest part of the job. I guess it really depends on the labor rate of the particular shop doing the install. Since my speed shop charges a VERY reasonable $65 an hour, I felt more comfortable having pro's doing it and being able to have someone else responsible should an error occur. Either way, good luck...

Also remember when turning rotors and removing material, you are changing the heating and cooling characteristics of that rotor. By removing material it is more prone to crakcing because of the heat and lesser material. Wouldnt matter on a beater or car that doesnt see excessive speed and braking, but on a vette, why chance it. Especially when rotors are so cheap for the vettes

thats a new one to me. Many of us roadcourse guys use new pads with used rotors, as long as the rotors are not showing replacement signs (early cracking lines or obvious small cracks, etc)
