Default Cant get jacking puck out!!!

Just noticed drivers side front has 1 jacking puck stuck in it....cant get it out. Its not the metal type that you typically see.....its hard plastic, and the bottom is about a 2 inch by 2 inch pad. How the hell do I get this thing out?? Ive tried prying, pulling, and twisting....wont budge....kinda spins, but wont come out. Any suggestions?

Twist harder!

I've had my metal ones from EE stuck before and it just took some muscle to get it to rotate... I'm sure you've got more than enough strength! Other than that, I guess just add it to your mod list!

You might want to use a Dremel tool to cut it down the middle. You should ten be able to pull it apart until you have just a plastic shaft. Then, drilling it out would be a possibility. Of course, this is a last resort type of suggestion, but sometimes, you have no other choice.

Good luck!

Put it on a jack stand. Use a drill bit down the center. Or a chisel like mentioned.

Look on MidAmerica Motor Works site. They sell plastic ones that sound like what you are describing that snap in and can be left in place. They have a picture of one that shows 4 projections that spring out and lock into the hole. By looking at the picture and seeing how they work, you will be able to figure out how to remove it. Seems like you'd want to push the projections toward the center to get by the catches.

It's harder to write than to do probably. Check out that picture. http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=2.66.2920
