Default repro wheels

JUst got my wheels today from Tomz, factory reprduction z06's. One thing I didn't like is the inside of the wheels isn't perfectly smooth. Still has the grooves from the machining but is chrome though. Probably not noticible on the car. Are all the repros like this?

I don't know if they all are like that, but if you bought wheels in the $1,200 or less range, then you can hardly expect them to be as nice as $3,500 set of forged ones. The inside part is where they save some money on finishing, especially on a cast wheel. I have some Z06 Motorsports that are Topline from Tom Z and for the price I paid it's hard to beat, or to complain. They look great on the car. Tom Z's is a great place to buy in my opinion. They were terrific.

Was the inside finished mike, or is it simmilar to what mine looks like. Also do you think it's that noticible. I thought the same thing what do expect for $150 a wheel. Other than that they look great can' wait to get them on the car. I'll post pics if I can figure out how.

I just switched my wheels from Factory 01 Z06 wheels that were chromed to Repro 18/19 Z06's Chromed. The inner wheel barrels on both are the same as what you got. They're chromed, but not smoothed. I love the wheels though. Congrats on you new purchase!

I bought a set of reproduction chrome Z06s a few years back and yes, while the barrels were chromed, the surface had grooves in it. Still looked good and when clean, no one noticed the grooves - just the shine.
