I have a K40 with front rear and laser defuser on my 01 vert. I personally love it. It was installed by the previous owner and he paid 1400-1500 for it. You cant even tell it is there. It has saved me many times.

Opinions are like as@holes, we all have one. Pick what you think is best for whatever reason and run with it. If you have the 1500 to spend and you want to, then do it! It is nice to hear true results from real users. The V1 I have was chosen for a gift for me, so that is what my choice was. I would have bought it for myself because it fit my needs and it works great way better than what I was using............. my eysight

My C5 had a K40 in it when I bought it. I used it for a few weeks and couldn't figure out whether or not it was working. It was always chirping with false signals, probably 6-8 times on a day on each way on my 9 mile commute. Never saw a LEO. One area I pass through has a radar set up several times a month. Never a peep when passing the unit with radar running. I figured I must be doing something wrong. I down loaded the manual and read throught it and made sure I had it set right. Everything was the way it should be. I gave up on it, pulled it out and dumped it. May have just been this unit was FUBAR, but I would have been in someone's face if I had paid the going rate for it.
