I love the Goodyear F1 GS-D3's compared to my original runflat EMT's.
Definitely notice a quiter ride with less bump steer. I can also feel how the tire grips better in turns. The car feels softer when going over bumps. The runflats would break the tires loose when going into second gear and I have an A4 with 3:15. Now, they grip alot better unless I put the pedal to the floor.
I purchased a tire plug kit and a portable air compressor that plugs into the lighter. Everything fits nice in the back compartments. I'll never go back!

I'll probably do the same thing in a few months. Had the GS-D3's on my R32 and I thought they were outstanding. A lot of the guys on the R32 board griped about the sidewalls being too soft. Not the ideal tire for autocrossing, but a great street performance tire. They are unreal in the rain.
getting my F1 GS-D3's installed monday - then off to get the portable air compressor and tire plug kit. it's good to see people liking the F1 GS-D3's over the runflats
Ditching the runflats was the best mod I've done so far. I would have gone with the GS-D3's but they didn't have them in 265/295 so I went with the Kumho's instead.
I did the same thing, but went with the Kumho MX's and saw similar gains in ride quality and handling. I also have the Conti air kit and a plug kit. Probably the best mod I've done so far.

I ordered my GSD3's a few days ago. Should be getting them any day. Bought some Z06 wheels last month and can't wait to get the GSD3's mounted on them. I noticed that suzuki automobiles have an air compressor kit for 53.00.

What kind of price's are you finding on the D-3's. Do they need to be installed on a Hunter machine???
I paid $192 for each front tire and $277 for each rear tire from Tirerack. I took them to Goodyear Tire in my area to have the runflats taken off and the GS-D3's mounted. I paid $120 to have them mounted and balanced and had them put the weight's on the inside of the rim.
I didn't notice until I got the tires mounted, but the GS-D3's have a rim protector incorporated into the sidewall. Really COOOOOL!

Replaced mine with the same and love them. Was like driving a totally different car. A couple of other things you might consider are some needlenose vise grips to get the object out and maybe a scissor jack. I have these and also a hockey puck and wheel chock. Might even want to get a pair of disposable latex gloves. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

I think I heard on this forum that the GS-D3's would be available this month (April 2006) in 295 to fit the ZO6. Anybody else heard of this?
I put GS-D3's on a couple of months ago and love them. Walk out price from a Goodyear shop was $1125 which included road hazard. They have a great tread design and leave an awesome footprint
I got to ditch them too. Right now I have to deal with them there is alot of tread on them pluse I'm getting ready to put new skins and do some mods in the interior. I'll get the summer out of them and they do tires and rims next winter 18 all around

Got rid of the run flats a long time ago. Went to 18" front & rear and Michelins. My wife actually accused me of trading cars because the ride was so much better. I carry a cell phone and a AAA card.
