Taking the C5 to BG KY the week of May the 15th and wanted to know if there is anything special in terms of tickets or reservations to do the plant tour. Are there one or two tours per day. If two, which is the best? Also plan on going to the museum. Any suggestions on where to stay? Thanks in advance hope to have a killer time.
As I remember there are 2 plant tours day (both the same)---you need reservations which you can get online----We did the Tour and Museum last Fall had a great time. We stayed at the Counrty Hearth Inn which is right across from the museum and right near the plant. Not the greatest place but ok and very convenient. I'd stay there again.
You will need at least a morning or afternoon to see the museum and of course save time for pictures
Made the trip last week to pick up a friends new C6. Here is the link to to the plant, it should have the tour schedule, plant closing dates, and instructions for registering for the tour.
Stayed at the Hampton Inn, one exit south of the museum and plant. The plant tour last approx 2 hours, so you'll need half the day for the museum and the remaining time for the plant tour. Enjoy the visit.
