welcome to the forum.
the unlock through the phone thing with the other FOB is a joke that has been around here for a long time .
Now shaking the car is a more legitimate possibility , although I have not tried it myself . I never put my FOBs in passive mode , they
that way .
enjoy the ride from this point forward , with both you and the keys are on the same side of the drive's door .
The car locked because the passive remote went to sleep. You can shake the car enough to move the remote and it will wake up and send a signal to let the car know it is in range.

Thanks for the info on this one. I've never had the passive mode activated, I'm going to try this for the heck of it. Out of curiousity, when the car goes into alarm mode, are there any factory motion sensors activated, not sure there are even any installed with the OEM system.
i dont think it should lock in the car!
i heard if you call someone and have them unlock the car from the other FOB over the phone it will unlock it... I have not tried it and i am not sure if it works maybe next time try this first.
