History report needed !!!!
Could someone / anyone run a history report for me? I'm looking at a clean 04' with 13k miles and need some assurance. The history report would help greatly.

Search for Carfax. They are actively policing forums looking to bust anyone who runs VIN's posted in forums. The penalties include immediate suspension of the user's Carfax account and threats of $19.99 per VIN run that violate the user agreement.

You may have better luck posting this in the C5s for sale section.
BTW, if a carfax is what you really want, you should spend the money for one. It is well worth the peace of mind and the buy back guarantee.

Any GM dealer can inquire GM's Vehicle Inquiry System (VIS) for the car's history and build info if you can just get them to. Also, several members here have access to GM's VIS. Hopefully one of them will come along shortly and run this for you. If not you might ask the service depart at one of your local dealers to see if they will run it for you. Good luck.
