Tiger Shark Rear lights need help
Hello all,
Anyone do the rear light conversion to amber/red. And my question is relating to the harness to avoid the inside (white/red) lights to not flash when turning.
So, I need a harness and wiring diagram to make the following:
Out lights; red/amber (red brake, amber turn)
In lights; red/white (red brake, white reverse)
Also, is it legal to have your turn lights white?

You have to snip the white wire coming from your brake pedal to segregate the brake function from the turn signal function.
If you do a search there should be detailed instructions. I had them once, but discarded them after I did my installation. Sorry.

So all i need is the amber lights which are inexpensive../..

My understanding is that flashing rear whites when the car is moving is illegal but I'm no expert in US law
If I understand your question right you want to inhibit the turn signal function on the inboard white lights and make the reversing lights come on. I'm assuming your kit came with a harness that makes the lights operate independently from the turn signals? If not I'd get that first from PFYC.
The way I would do that is to leave the turn signal light bulb holders on the harness but take out the bulbs and seal the units with electrical tape. I'd then tap into the reversing light circuit using in line wiring connectors. Just take extra wires from the live and ground wires. Get a new set of bulb holders from Autozone that fit the euro light housing and connect them up to the new wiring.
You can get access to the reversing lights easily by taking the rear number plate housing off.
You'll then have outer amber turn sgnals and inner reversing lights.
This way you can still revert to stock in future.

I canot find the instructions anywhere.
You have to remember that my inner white/red is used for the reverse (white). But then I turn the upper half blinks. Im assuming the same thing is going to happen when I put in the red/amber..
