Default Traction must be reeeeeaaaaly important

Reading the new Road @ Track where they put a new Lingenfelter twin turbo C6 through its paces. The car produces 725 bhp and 730 lb-ft of torque and runs the quarter mile at 136 MPH. The problem is that a front engine/rear wheel drive beast such as this can't hook up. The result is a nice but not awe inspiring 3.9 second time to 60mph and a 11.6 sec time in the 1/4. It is a stunning piece of machinery but at a cost of $86,995 plus the price of a 2006 Z51 C6. Good article

11.6?

needs some better tires and possibly a suspension tuned for drag racing.

the numbers id like to know are from 60-120 ..

edit: just went and found my old copy .. 0-150 in 13.8 seconds .. good enough for me.

... btw check out that RUF porsche .. good jebus that's nice car.

I think some Pilot Sports. On top of that Lingenfelter recommends a beefier rear if using sticky tires. The stock 3.42's are retained. Should be part of the package no?

Then you read about some ricer in a front-wheel-drive turbo four banger that runs in the 7's, that probably cost all of 30 grand, including the price of the vehicle.

Talk to me again about traction, and 87 grand plus the price of a new C6 Z06.
