Help with steering wheel squeak
I have that annoying steering wheel squeek where the steering stem goes through the firewall.
I found this fix...

The picture is not so great. Do I get to it from inside the car of from the engine compartment? I can't find the opening in the lower bearing that it refers to. On the inside there is a plastic ring at the base against the firewall with an electrical plug coming from it. I think this may be the right spot but I don't want to spray lithium grease in there if there are electronics in there as well.
Can some one provide further detail for this fix?
