Default Flourescent Work Lite???

Do they make Adjustible Tripod Flourescent Work Lites? I've seen some nice tripod units but they are Halogens and they tend to get very hot, especially the 1000- 1500 watt ones

I've seen smaller flouresent ones that you hang but i havent seen any tripod ones. I've been to sears, Home depot and lowes. Going to walmart today but I doubt they would have one

Thats a good question. I thought my friend had one but now that you've said that. I think it might be halogen. Please let us know. I would be interested as well.

They have them in flouresent, i have a compact one, it gets warm but not hot, and it puts out a lot of light.

I just bought one at home depot. Its a tripod unit but the light assembly is verticle so it emits the light 360 degrees. I'd rather have one that shines directly on the working area that are you are working on like the one in your link. Only thing that concerns me is the brightness of this. Is there a way to reduce the brightness? 1000 watts is alot!!! Also, how much is this? I dont see a price.

Here we go! I just found one that looks identical to yours. $119, free shipping. Thye even offer a money-back guarantee! with ree shipping to your address, you cant beat that! I wonder if they stand comes in RED?
