Both are good. I have an A4 and I actually choose to take it (instead of my other car, a 5-speed) when I know I'll be in traffic. The way I see it, it gives me more time to enjoy the Corvette. And when the road is clear and empty, the top pops off and the stereo goes up, and all is good in the world.

GET THE 6SPD!!!!
A Coworker of mine bought a 98 A4 coupe. He cant stand driving it infact he actually tells me he prefers to drive his daily driver Kia just because its stick. Biggest mistake he ever made was buying that automatic.

Nothing wrong with an A4, but they aren't for me, and you probably know whether it's for you or not. It's not a good deal unless it's what you want.
BTW... to you guys worried about dead horses... save a click and don't open posts about topics that bother you. This member has 6 posts and is looking for some feedback.

when i was looking for my c5... I required it be black on black with a 6spd and thats exactly what I got... You never want to regret a purchase... I wish i would have got black interior or I wish I had got an M6.... I wish I would have got HUD... you know.. you need to decide what YOU WANT.... if an A4 isn't for you... don't do it... if your not apposed to it... GET IT!! I mean it is a Vette right?
I guess with a little computer work, a few extra parts and some money and you can get that same car and put a used or brand new M6 in it
