CONRATS Wes!! At least your wait will be shorter than mine. I put my order in on July 20th and will most likely not get the car until the end of Sept. I tried just about every major dealer in the South and all of the supporting dealers on both Forums and none could come close to the deal I got. Of course I will be waiting longer, so you really do get your moneys worth from the big boys..... As far as the 'ol dealer shenanigans, MP pulled one on my freind here in Nashville. After driving all the way back to Nashville, they did come to terms a week later. Sorta the same situation you had at TJ. It's no big deal because every dealer is in the business to make money, not give it away. Because of the weak economy and slow Vette sales, you're gonna see better deals now compared to a few months ago...... And before anyone asks: YES, I got my "Preferred Customer Plan" signed by the sales mgr stating my "Vehicle Market Value." I'm a happy man! :D

Maxie Price.......? This the Dealership who expects Customers to phone THEM at the Customers expense? The same Dealership who sells Millennium Yellow Z06s at MSRP with NO discount to Forum Members?

This is my first post here at CF even though I have been reading the forum for almost two years now. I recently purchased a QS mod red Z06 from Monica Dean@MaxiePrice for deliver to San Jose, CA. I paid under MSRP for January deliver (my choice). I enjoyed dealing with Monica she seemed like a very capable person. The deal took 3 emails to complete. I offer, 1 counter offer, and then we split the difference. I feel great about not buying from the dealers here in Silicon Valley who list the Z06 for 10-15K over MSRP.

Not a friend of the family. Although I have done business with them in the past. I buy a new Vette every year, and they didn't want to lose my business. I negotiated directly with the sales manager.

We can do this, if it's okay with Wes. Let's all watch and follow Wes's Z06s as it gets built. I'll even post updates for everyone to see. The order was placed last week, right Wes? It is a black/mod red 2002 with a status event of 2500. I'll update this post every Wednesdya if thats okay with the test subject (ie Wes the Guinea Pig). We'll all watch together as Wes's vette goes through build state and delivery process. Then everyone can see how fast we get our vettes and how Wes feels about his vette. Okay with you, Wes?

Monica it is more than ok with me :D This way we can openly and publicly prove all the naysayers wrong about Maxie Price and their integrity. Also I will update how smoothly the financial portion of my deal goes as soon as my new baby arrives :chevy Oh yes and I should say this...I am a first time customer at MP and did not know Monica or anyone else at MP for that matter. So I am a true guinea pig..so to speak :lol:

You are in good hands!! I bought my 02 z06 from Rick Daniel last weekend and I could not be happier! All went just as planned. It was well worth the 80$ airline ticket and 800 mile drive.

Good point, the deal isn't done. However, these vendors DO NOT want members slamming them, trust me. If maxy bent him over they would feel it from others and get butt rammed 3 times as hard by losing potential buyers and having a bad rep from the forum. They do "lots" of deals from here.
