I just got back from watching the movie Rat Race with my wife and I know it is late but I don't care   I went down to Maxie Price in Monroe,Gerogia (770-207-7000) tonight and sat down with sales person :blueangel: Monica Dean :blueangel: . I worked out a great deal on a 2002 black/torch red Z06 :D :D She will be here in six weeks or less :D :chevy Can you guys tell I am excited?
On a serious note give Monica a call anytime and let her make you a GREAT deal on a Vette :yesnod: Monica and Maxie Price thanks for your patience with me and tahnks for making dreams come true :D
I will tell you this...I am sworn to secrecy but I shopped around and I mean I shopped around!! I contacted over 100 Chevrolet dealerships in the Southeast and noone and I mean noone could get me into a Z06 exactly the way I wanted it built faster than Monica and Maxie Price Chevrolet. You have to call Monica and make a deal with her. She WILL make it worth your while :D
Wes-
Wondering what the big secret is with the Deal...You saying all customers wouldn't be treated fairly and equally? That has me thinking..... :yesnod: and that is sometimes, not good
Anyway.......CONGRATS on the "deal"!! Won't be long now !!!!
Zman
Wes; glad you finally got one on order. That e-mail I sent you awhile back about the Maxie Price total package is true. I'm working with Rick and so far so good. Congrats.
no no no Zeeman, ALL CorvetteForum members are created equal and treated equally at Maxie Price. God I sound like a bill board but what can I say, they are the best. I can guarantee you that if you call Monica or anyone for that matter at MP, they will put you into any Vette exactly like you want it faster than anyone in the country. Just trust me and give MP a call if you are in the market.
Well I flew from Denver to Atlanta (Maxie Price) to get mine. Last year they were the only dealership that I could find in the country to sell me a Z06 at MSRP. I did not meet Monica though. I bought mine from a guy named Danny Scalf. Very easy buy and got to break her in from Atlanta to Denver. :D:D:D:D:D
Wes1927,This car is worth the wait ;) As for dealers, Iam One lucky guy,I live just down the road from Karl , Chuck Hutton Chevrolet. My Opinion, Karl cannot be described just as Quote,A GOOD DEALER. He is a Good Man and True Professional, He has far exceeded the role of good Dealer! He is a FRIEND. Yes, I AM A HAPPY CAMPER :D :D :D Congrats and all the best, :seeya :chevy
No Mercy I see you are now in Hi. That was some detour from Atla. to Denver. Wish I was there as well. Every time I see your Sig Tag on the "Z" Forum I say wow what a life a Z06 and living in Hi.
I bought my '01 Z06 from Maxie Price. The car was covered in road grime when it arrived. They didn't have proper washing facilities, and the paint got all scratched up, and also a scratch in the windshield. I called the service manager (think his name was Greg) about 100 times to get this taken care of. He kept blowing me off. Therefore, I bought my '02 Z06 from Tom Jumper Chevy in Atlanta, and got a great deal. Maxie Price would not come off MSRP when I bought my '01 in DECEMBER of last year. I would advise people to call Tom Jumper first. Much better customer service in my opinion. When my '02 arrived with the '01 airbox cover, I had the correct part in two days. Very impressive. Also, not a scratch on the car.
Hold up Corvette Bob :mad I have to vehemently disagree with you about Tom Jumper Chevrolet...earlier this year I worked out a deal with a Greg (will not mention his last name) from Tom Jumper Chevrolet. Anyway I worked out a trade and he supposedly had gotten me to my target monthly payment. A few days later and here comes the old bait and switch :mad :mad Needless to say I drove an hour and a half from home and returned their car for my trade in back. I was told before I left and the jerks saw that I was pissed that they could get me "back" to my original deal. I told them to shove it and I didn't appreciate their lack of integrity. Also Jumper couldn't touch the deal I got from Maxie Price. Jumper wouldn't budge below MSRP  So please don't tell don't direct anyone to that hell hole of a Bill Heard dealership. You do however have your opinion and I respect that. I will keep my business with Maxie Price :seeya :chevy
I realized I slammed Tom Jumper as a whole last night and want to make sure that everyone realizes that my feelings of disgust are only with the salesperson that dealt with me at Tom Jumper Chevrolet. I am certain there are good people there... one bad apple can in fact effect the whole tree :seeya
Wes, as a semi-uninterested party (not Corvette owner, not in the market for a Z06) might I humbly suggest, based on several stories posted here, that you keep your "Maxie Price billboard" status in check until you actually have the car in your hands, in the condition you want.
"Making a good deal" is a very, very small part of quality and customer satisfaction.
