Default Molded Mud Flaps ???

Any thoughts or pictures to using the painted, molded mud flaps. My white paint takes a beating in this area.

I just installed mud flaps over the weekend. Will take pictures and try to post tomorrow. I was also getting some road rash and hope that this solves the problem. I prefer the black color however, because it blends in with the tires better and is very hard to see from a distance. I have a friend who has a white C5 who also has black mud guards and they look great. There are also less expensive than the colors.
Hope this helps.

I saw a c6 Z06 in person this weekend for the first time and it had a molded "mudflap" that was part of the wheel well plastic. It wasn't very big and appeared to be more of a protector of the immediate fiberglass behind. They were very innocuous and looked nice. I wonder if there's anything out there for the C5 like them?

Let me be the first to say the mudflaps on a C5 look like However, jdmvette put the C6 Z06 splash guards on his C5 and they looked awesome! He said that it was very labor intensive tho...

I have these on both my Verts - love em

I had the 'interior' painted black - thus any road grime is hard to detect (see pictures)

I’m trying a different route. I had the complete XPel 3m film kit put on including the behind the wheels and on the rocker panels.

Yea! Those are the ones I saw. They look great in person on the C6 and now I see that someone put them on the C5. Very well done and not that intrusive like the traditional mud flaps.

Default altec mud flaps

Yes: I put them on my zo6, some people think they are ugly, I don't care, rocks are not eating my paint everytime I go for a cruise, I used 2 sided 3m tape to put them on, and only 2 of the smallest screws, that would hold, one at top and one at the bottom, so when they come off they will only be 1 small hole that you can see, the other one is out of site on the bottom of the fenders...Keep crusin'..B

I don't think anyone can argue the point of them adding protection against road debris. I put mine on when I'm off-roading only...

Default rock guards

Just got a set of C6 Z06 rears from Fred Beans. I have read that it is labor intensive to install them. A quick pre-fit and it doesn't look too hard. They do have to be trimmed a bit tho. I don't care for the mudflap look at all so I haven't figured out what to do with the front fenders yet.

I had a set of the mudflaps (black ones shown above) on my car when I got it. They didn't look that bad but I had to remove them when I lowered the car due to the speedbumps where I work. If anyone wants them let me know, 25.00
