Anybody subscribe to Corvette magazines, and if so, what in your opinion are the best ones, and why?

I used to get Corvette Fever, but their recent changes caused me to drop the subscription after ten+ years. Stupid things, too, that I find unforgiveable in a professional magaznie, especially one dedicated to a single purpose. For example, they had a recent issue listing the Top 10 small blocks, and there were at LEAST 10 glaring errors in the article, such as incorrect code numbers, incorrect years, etc. - all things that anyone with a little Corvette knowledge would catch (and I did). An issue or two later they stated on the cover that there was a big C4 engine build-up inside and it was a C5 engine article, and on and on. Misspelled words, improper punctuation and other editing flaws that I just HATE put me over the edge. It seems as if the mag is just thrown together now when it used to be so in-depth and informative. I won't even pick it up from the newsstand now. Glad you started this thread - I'm curious as to what others think of the other 'vette mags out there - I still like getting magazines in the mail, but I don't know what I should subscribe to anymore...

I like Corvette Magazine. The articles are great, they have very complete model rundowns and their photography is the best!

I had a subscription to Corvette Fever for one year, and I let it go. The writing was no better than what I would expect from an 8th grader. The articles just were not interesting.

I now subscribe to CORVETTE magazine. It's a little better, but not much. I also subscribe to Corvette Quarterly - it is now so C6 oriented that when I get my last issue in December, I plan to let it lapse. I know that's the magazine you get for three years from Chevrolet when you buy a new Vette, so that explains why the C6 orientation.

Truth is I will never own a C6 and I really don't give a rat's butt about reading about them.

There are no great magazines dedicated solely to Vettes, but if you want to read a great magazine (IMHO, of course) about cars - pick up Hemmings Classic Cars.....now there is some great photography and excellent writing! Too bad they don't have a dedicated Corvette mag!

I currently have subscriptions to Corvette Magazine, Corvette Enthusiast, and Vette. I will probably drop Vette when it is due for renewal. I used to get Corvette Fever, but as was already stated, it has become poorly written and edited.

The current issue of Vette has two articles which caught my attention. The story of the `63 convertible with a 427, and the story of the Tangerine `60 which was built by a local man who is a member of our club. Kinda cool to see a car I know featured in a national magazine.

Over the years I've subscribed to a number of Corvette magazines, including Vette, Corvette Fever and Corvette Magazine. By far the best is Corvette Magazine. It's only published every other month, but the articles are well done, it has a very professional look to it and it offers something for everyone.

I had a sub. to both Corvette Fever and Vette for eons. After receiving the first issue of Corvette Magazine I let the sub. to both CF and Vette drop.

I think Corvette Magazine rates right up there with Car & Driver and Road & Track.

Thanks to all who responded to this. It will help me decide which one to get, if any. Sounds like they all get stale after a while, as do other publications that I subscribe to. Thanks all.
