Z06 MAF Conversion
I am looking at making the Z06 MAF conversion on my car and would like to know where i can buy the harness to make it plug and play? The car is a 97 coupe with a 2003 Ls6 motor. I have a Z06 Maf in the tune right now but have the LS1 Maf in the car. My mistake when i had ordered a mail order tune. This error has been trigerring lean codes in both banks. Instead of cutting into the existing harness i would like to plug and play...Help if you can..thanks...Miike

Pace performance parts sells the 3+2 wire into the 5 wire harness as well as the calibrated 01+ MAF unit for use on 97-00 cars.

Thanks for the info..Can someone tell me if upgrading to the Z06 MAF is useless in a 1997/1998 car? I was told the PCM doesn't read all the frequencies that high up on the table in 97/98. Is that true?

Even though I have no proof of anything, but to me it sounds like it would be pretty much useless. Even if it did help there is no way you could ever tell any HP gains. I would personally save the money and use it somewhere where it will help.
