I really don't want to rip every thing out like I did in my C4, can I add a sub to this thing without building a whole new system?? Any solutions would be great, thanks.
On my 2003 I installed some stock sized Infinity after market speakers front and rear and a 12 inch woofer and an amp. The change in sound quality is worth the expense.
My sound system upgrade consists of longtubes and an off-road X-pipe.
Someone had something posted that the factory subs are in the doors and you can feed off of that lead to power an aftermarket sub, thus keeping the stock head unit.
A partition can help too if you don't have one of those yet.
So these C5's are not like the C4's, you can actually run alternate speakers off the factry head unit? You couln't do that wit hthe Bose sytem in the C4's. That's good news.
