2003 Z06 Partial Frame Needed
Hey,
Unfortunately I recently had an accident in my 2003 Z06. The driver side frame rail is bent and cannot be fixed. The body shop is trying to find a piece of good frame to weld to the existing frame and cannot find one so i am posting to try and help them out. The piece that is needed is from the front of the driver side door to the front end (about 3 feet). If anyone knows of a frame or piece of frame that woud fit my needs please let me know at stchemist@aol.com or (614) 891-9018. Does anyone know if all c5 frames are the same or are the Z06 frames different or are all years specific. TIA

Using www.car-part.com (A great tool!) I found this:

There are more results as well if you go to the site and do a search. Look for people selling left headlamp assemblies. It may come from a car that is cleean on the driver side.

I've got some of the remains of a crashed '99 Black C5 Hardtop corvette (Clean Title) vette for sale.
I've sold a lot of the parts locally - but what remains is as follows:
(and this is ALL that remains- so please don't email asking for other parts if it isn't listed)
driver's side door (complete) - $SOLD
rear bumper - $200
Frame of car (with clean title) - $2,500 (frame is NOT bent - would make a great foundation for a car that has a bent frame!)
driver's side headlight assembly - $SOLD
A friend of mine owned this car and crashed the heck out of it. I bought it from him to part it out. He owned it outright and didn't have Insurance. Ouch!

All C5 frames are the same. We purchsed the right rear 1/4 frame from GM to fix my car.
Took a few weeks to get it, but after getting the frame and welding it in place and straightining, the frame is now straighter then stock specs.
