Default gremlins in the car....

ok so, i have the approach lights on in the options menu. but they are not turning on as im walking up to the car and hit unlock on the keyless entry. i tried both and either activate the lights. i keep hittin unlock and then the drivers seat starts moving back and forth. easy entry i take it? how do i get the lights to come on every time i hit unlock? its worked every time until today

The seat moving back and forth sure sounds like an intermittant connection. Have you looked at this post?

i will look into that, but i dont have any of those issues. just the lights seem to be my problem. and sometimes they work now, and sometimes not

Corrosion in wire harnesses can cause any of a number of electrical problems. Of course, it could be a single ground wire that can produce your intermittant problem. Now that I think of it, my lights don't always come on, either. I had attributed this to the daylight intensity (or lack thereof). It seems like the lights always come on when I unlock the car with the fob at night, but not during the day. I'll have to experiment later on today........
