anyone know how many different models of c5 glass tops were made. I have one believed to be off a 2004 and was selling to a friend but his 99 top connects completely different. latches are located several inches from one to the other. I will post pics later today. was wondering if one stlye was used till 2000 and than the other till 2004?


Thanks for the help, thought this top was off a 2004 but it was bought in 2004 for a C4.

All of the ones I've seen are exactly the same. I have a 98 coupe and my new top came off of a 03.

My understanding is there is only one model. And it fits all year C5's....Chime in if I'm wrong....

hence the extra glass top i have will fit anything from a 1998 to a 2004. i plan to sell it when everybodys in town for that little thing they have in carlisle in august. bub

Thanks for the info. When it was given to me I miss understood what car it was for. I thought it was off a 2004 vette. it was off a C4 but it was bought in 2004. thats why I have a vert. This was my 1st experience with a targa top.

I have a glass top on my 2004 coupe, that cane off the 1999 coupe I traded in. It fits like it was made for the 2004.

Yea, the C4 tops latched totally different than the C5 tops do. The C5 targa top will fit any year C5.
