Default T1 Suspension Package

Does anyone have the full T1 suspension package on their car & still drive as a DD on the street? I'm seriously considering going to the full T1 suspension but I'm a bit concerned about the 1" lowering that happens with the T1 leaf springs. I would like to see pictures of cars with the T1 suspension, if anyone runs it!

Thanks!

EG doesn't have the full system...he's got T1 sways with coil overs, dropped as low as he can stand it.
Drives amazing!

I have T-1 bars with Z51 Springs & QA1 Adjustable shocks. I have talked with a couple of guys who have track cars. They do not recommend it for the street. I wouldn't drive mine on the street with shocks set on firm. Are you planning to track the car?

There is a good possability the car will be tracked some but certainly not 100% of the time.

The reason I ask is because IMHO T-1 is a waste just for the street. You really cannot fully utilize the performance even with very aggresive driving on the street. However, for the track it is a big plus.

You really should ask this question in the Autocross / Road Racing Section.

Or at least let's hope you don't ...

Some do it. For most it isn't worth it unless you also plan to track frequently. The setup isn't cheap.

Not going to drive any more aggressivly on the street, I would just like a stiffer suspension. I like the way the Z06 springs feel and am considering those with the T1 sway bars if I do not go full out T1.

I will post this in Autocross/RR in a few days, after this thread dies.

I would suggest adjustable shocks when you install the T-1's, this was you can control the ride.

This is the way our car looked with Hotchkis bars...T-1's did not alter the ride height. BTW with the Hotchkis at the track, on very hard cornering, the tires hit the rear fender walls.
