Cleartastic: EXTREMELY INVISIBLE : (
I purchased the complete set of 8 for the C5 from MID AMERICA to protect my car from rocks and debris. I installed it at the dealer before I drove the car home when I picked it up. I notice the next day that the front two are MIA and these things cost like $70 for clear thin film precuts. :confused: :(
I called today and they will send another set out at no charge :cool:
Anyone else have this experience?

That's too bad. I have considered getting a set and wondered if (and how well) they worked. It is interesting that out of the entire set that only the front two are missing. Good luck with the replacements.

I have all four on my 74 and 96 Grand Sport and I have never had any problems. I washed the area and applied Zaino or Griots products to the area and then placed them on. Mine have never fell off. Good luck. I noticed many marks on the cleartastic that most likely would have damaged the paint on my vehicles.

Yes,it has happened to me on one occasion...Headed to Carlisle in 1999,had installed the entire kit...when I got to Carlisle,nearly 1/3 of them had fallen off.....Saw them at Carlisle in a vendor booth...they took my name..address and mailed me another package of them...As of today,I still have the new package....unopened. More than likely,in all fairness to them,It may have been my fault,even though I had the directions in front of me and followed them verbatem.....The price at that time,was something under $50.....
