Here's the latest:
Removed the tape:
The lines came so crisp, they look like decals. I also knocked the edges down with some 1000 grit before clear coat.

Almost done, here's the hood after 3 coats of clear: (The pictures don't do it justice, and for some reason, torch red always looks orange in close up pics.)
Let it cure one day, then wet sand and buff tomorrow. Orange peel? What the hell is that? Hey 74, you didn't think I was going to let you beat me did you?

How much total clear did you spray on your hood? I ended up using just over 1 quart of black and just over 1 quart of clear. Now that I have some left over, hmmmm? What can I paint next?
