Went down to VA Beach today with some friends, I parked my car in a private parking lot and upon return I see that someone hit my front drivers side!!!! F**K!!! The attendant got the tag # and when the cops ran it I saw that he had USAA insurance which caters mainly to military personnel. I called the owner of the lot and he said that he is not responsible for any damages, it states that on the reciept that I got from them. My insurance will take care of the car. What is the price for a new facia? What are the prices for after market facias and could ya'll post any pics, I might go with a different look.
AAAARRRGH...what a way to start a weekend! You have my sympathy! If that guy's still active-duty military should be fairly easy for your insurance company to track him down...might be the end of his career.
Seems to me that if you got the tag number your insurance company will go after this loser. Why won't the police go after him for the hit/run? Because it was on private property?
The cops are gonna assign this to a hit and run detective and go after him and I am going to press charges on whoever did this to my car. We all work hard for the things we have and then some ahole.... sorry started to ramble on and on.
So, do you have the plate number? if so, call 800-531-8111 and tell USAA what happened and give them the plate number. I bet they find the guy and help you out. USAA is a great organization and I would never have another insurance company.
Sorry to hear that it happened and hope it gets fixed properly quickly.

Hope the cops nail him good and you get his insurance to cough up the cash to pay for fixing your car. If I were you, this would be a perfect opportunity for a Tiger Shark front fascia.
Also, give the plate # and accident info to your Ins. Co. They can pursue the scum bag too. Don't let this POS off the hook---go after him/her. Good luck---at least you weren't hurt....

I agree - turn it over to the insurance company and let them go after this low life POS. You might not even have to pay your deductible if it turns out that he is indeed insured with the same company you are.
If the detective comes back and asks if you want to pursue this, or would you be happy if the damages are taken care of...take the pr1ck to court, make him face the traffic charges and make him pay for the damage. Someone needs to teach these irresponsible, self centered a$$holes that damage someone's property and leave a lesson.
Sorry for your troubles, and best of luck on having the repairs done to your satisfaction.
sorry to hear it man; the good part is that at least you have a lead of the inconsiderate idiot who did it. make him pay man, make him pay. best of luck. bub
My left front got smashed up a year ago and Zilla suggested that I get a Tiger Shark front fascia. I love the look but it sure is a bug catcher. Every time I hit the highway I get a new bug collection. It costs about $1K.
