Default Avic users... change the boot screen image!

I posted this in Audio, but I wanted to put it in C5 general, too, since a lot of people only visit the audio forum when they're looking for specific info. But for everyone with an Avic headunit, I found a way to change the boot screen to something much more Corvette-appropriate.

Cool Logo

I had all sorts of problems getting mine to load originally.

I went with a Mag Red Logo in the end

thanks for the compliment. I'm guessing the reason you had some trouble getting your image to load may have something to with the file size... the image you posted is big... I bet that the Avic just can't load a file that big. If you ever try another file, set it up at the Avic's native size: 500 by 240 pixels.

You're absolutely correct. I also had trouble with the BG folder.

The one I just posted was the resized image that the avic can accept

Big though isn't it?

Good advice for me to remember.....I've been watching these Avic nav threads for some time, and am interested in doing one someday.
