Known to have a Cheeseburger and a Budweiser too often I found it hard to squeeze under the car to align a pine 2X6 under the crossmember to jack up the rear of the car. When I lowered the car on the stock bolts the pine 2X6 wouldn't go under unless I first drove up onto some boards. So I came up with this solution that works very well for me. The round piece of pegboard keeps the piece of 1X6 red oak centered on the cradle of the jack and the clips keep the board centered front to back on the crossmember. Now I don't have to climb under the car to line things up.
No offense, but I notice in your pic it doesn't center side to side very well.
Maybe time for some more innovation.
Here's how I solved the alignment problem: With a black paint marker, mark the centerline of the board and the crossmember, then simply line up the lines as you roll the jack & board into postion.

The metal tabs are spaced to align it betweed the angles in the crossmember.
Nice idea, but shouldn't have you used a 2 X 6 instead of just a 1 inch board ? That board can't spread much weight over your cross member, almost same as just jacking in the middle of the cross-support (which I thought was a no-no). I use a pressure treated 2 X 6 as they can carry more weight.
