Default Problem with my targa top?????

Here is the deal, one week ago, I was removing and installing the targa top myself, 3 days ago needed a little help, drivers side was being a pain in the ***, 15 min later got it to set in, today over an hour and the drivers side is somewhere between 1/8 and a 1/4 inch from setting in. I have checked everything and then checked it again nothing seems to be out of place the weather stripping is fine, the only thing that I can think of is a frame twist? that cant be the car is stock anyone have any input or had a similar problem? Carfax is clean nothing at all??

...but it was okay before???? Something is weird here. Try removing and reinstalling it again. The frame doesn't twist that easily.

it would appear that the top is not seated properly to be latched---this is fairly easy to accidentally do. to latch the top properly so you don't join the flying roof club you must have the roof seated properly. perhaps you need another person to assist although putting the roof on is typically a 1 man job. continue to play with the adjustment; you'll get it. bub

Have done this myself. It will latch out of alignment. So undo, get a second person and re-install. Should do the trick.

Also, make sure the rear pins are in the hole cutouts in the top rear trim. I had missed the cutout once and gone above the trim with the rear pin. I still latched but just didn't seem right.
I looked around and finally noticed my mistake.

There are several adjustments you can make to both the front and back.

this is not a latching problem the pass side goes in and will fit flush the drivers side will not even go down it just sits on the latch the holes are lined up. I'm going to take it to the body shop tom ill let you guys know how it goes.
