Hello all, we've had a couple of requests for "medium red" black-outs that we'll be treating this coming Tuesday. Being that our jigs hold 4 sets of C5 taillights, we'll treat 2 additional sets that will be available to the first parties that speak up. These would be the lightest tint of black outs that we produce. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to have the differences in these tints show up in photos. However our "Medium Red" would be best described as dark red lenses that are clearly distinguishable as being dark red. Our "Dark Red" treatment is a very dark red that can only be distinguished as having red in them, while in direct sunlight. And then of course our treatment that we term as black, is solid black until lighted. The 2 sets of Medium Red black outs that we're offering are priced at $175.00 per set + $15.00 shipping via UPS Ground. If you would like one of the 2 sets we're offering, please post to this thread. They will be ready to ship the following week on Tuesday May 30th, due to our one-week cure time. You can learn more about our black out process at the following link: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...or&forum_id=53
Thank you,
Richard
For anyone "on the fence" about this, I can testify that these are the best quality you will find anywhere.
Richard - Any thought of producing the lightest tint for the C5 backup lenses?
Thanks Bob, yes we can and have done a few sets of reverse lights like this. However I should mention that they won't match the taillights being that they appear smoke in color, as opposed to the dark red tails.
Thanks again,
Richard
I'll try to take a close up or two, tomorrow. It's very difficult to get the photo to show the black cherry color, but I'll give it my best. I should have them posted by noon
Thanks,
Richard

Well dispite the fact that I turned the lamp for various sun angles, they all look pretty similar in these photos. In reality, they're actually a bit darker in person. But hopefully this will give you a better idea of what they look like.

Richard's blackouts and the process he uses is, by far, the best out there!...
I have several of his products including tail lights, rear side markers, and also interior door reflectors!..
