I'll admit...just last week I found out how to raise them without the car running. In my '82 you simply pull a vacuum cut off below the dash. In the "modern" 04 you turn a **** a couple hundred times - twice, once for each light! It does look like the **** can be turned with a power screwdriver using a socket adapter - should help speed things up!

Turn a ****?
You can turn on the lights with the car running, then drop down to parking lights, shut off the car, and turn off the lights, and lights stay up.
Not w/ the vette.... I have C5-R lights, but with my first car I didn't clean them for a long time. It was a '95 Ford Probe GT and I was 16. The day I realized I should clean those too it was like getting a new car when driving at night.
