I have a friend who installed the LS7 clutch late last year, he has had it to the track 2 times now (Cammed/Bolt on Z06) running low 11's with 60' times in the 1.6x's..... no issues with slipping/soft pedal with hot lapping the car.
Not sure how it would be with another 150 hp and probably 200+ torque from the nitrous, if you want to be really safe I would go with the RPS or Textrallia set up. Both are quite pricey though
What are the odds that the Texrallia one will grenade my tranny like some Spec 3's I've read about?
I'm not planning on spraying all the time... (just when I need it... hehe)
But I'm looking for a clutch that can definitely handle the power and still last me at least a couple of years with only a moderate amount of "spirited driving"...
I'm very pleased with my Textrallia "Aussie" clutch so far!...
Same here. Dropped .12 off my short time with it. Holds up awesome and never fades or gets hot. I would wrap the lines (that helps) and go to a higher temp fluid. O yea, if you run it alot and will need to bleed it often, you might want to install a remote bleeder while you are at it. Good luck and +2 for the aussie.
