Thanks everyone for your kind words. I'm truly honored to be a part of a great group of patriotic Americans who appreciate the sacrifice that our military is making each and every day.
Hey, a couple of pictures from Vietnam and now. Friends for over 36 years. It took that long for us to have the same cars!. I'm on the left "Then" and on the "Right" now.
Amen! A lot of people have forgotten what it has taken to keep our country and our world safe and free for all of us to enjoy! Thanks to all of us that have done so and are continuing to do so! GOD Bless America, The Land Of The Free!
I expected at least one "not C5 General Discussion, but nice anyways" comments. As an active Air Force member, I believe we as Corvette owners are true Americans with the love of the ultimate American driving machine. With that said, I would never complain about anything being "not on topic" when it comes to loving/serving my country.
Also a little side-note, I visited the USS Arizona Memorial in Hawaii last week. A strange thing occured to me when a few folks were actually laughing and having a good time, like this memorial was fun or something. I wanted to toss them into the water.
thank you to all the brave men and women of our Armed Services who risk their lives every day so that I was able to drive my C-5 to a car show today, brag about my car and enjoy a terrific day in the sunshine. may you all shine on like no car can
