Im in serious need of a new clutch system. I have been looking at the ram clutches. How do you like them? Any chatter, would you buy another one? It needs to hold 500rwhp.

They're more popular on the f-bodies. Try over at LS1Tech. I've heard good things about them...

I had a Ram VDS system on my previous SS. I had 480 rwhp N/A and it held up nicely..... best part is that it didnt kill your leg either. Whan I upgrade my Z I will be adding their new twin disc setup rated for 900 rwhp. Dont need that much at the moment but its nice to have room for growth. I spoke with a Ram tech about it and its suppose to be very streetable due to its design.

I just had the Ram twin disc put in my car. It was just started today after D1, alky, total fuel system redux, and the clutch. My shop only fired it up for a second, prior to tuning, and tested the engagement of the clutch. So far so good - no need to open 'er back up and shim.

I pick up the car (tentatively) Sunday night and I will report back my impressions of this clutch.

We tuned my car conservatively....target is 500-530 rwhp.

I am going with a twin disk as well. Just waiting on a few parts, and my car should be done next week.
