LOL, just posted on the other post concerning battery covers,I went with the Mid Amer. one, its ABS plastic, but it has vent holes so the battery can breathe if that matters or not.

ive found that most vettes were different in small ways. my cover fits my brothers car but his tighter in some areas. this was the reason for only doing templates instead of hard copies as it allows you to have more options with the finnished product and you can mod it to your own personal tastes.
the red looks great but being the only "red" under hood it draws too much attention but is that a bad thing? maybe paint your frc's red to match and the template wont be such a big fcal point unde the hood.
