[Z06] Annoying buzz...any ideas?
Ok, so I just cracked 500 miles tonight. Finally got to start testing out the car a little bit. But I also got my first (and hopefully only) annoying noise. There is this really annoying buzzing sound that is coming from the storage area. Its there around forty mph, and is most noticeable around 70. It sounds like a piece of plastict or something thats vibrating against something really fast. There are a couple of things in the trunk, so I moved them around and secured them to make sure they weren't the cause. I've reached all around the storage area (as far as I could reach) to see if touching anything would stop the buzz, but I can't locate it. Its really annoying the hell out of me. I can turn on the radio and drown it out, but I prefer listening to the engine, which means I have to hear the buzz all the time. Any suggestions that could help me find this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Reach behind you and put pressure on your headliner where it meets the back window.
The connector to my back window defroster was buzzing. I found it by putting pressure on the headliner which put pressure on the trim piece where the defroster wire is.

Perhaps it is the pull tab inside the trunk for the gas tank.
My firebird's fuel pump makes an annoying whine that it has had for over 80,000 miles, but that is always noticable. I just crank the stereo. That shouldn't be it though.
