Should I switch gears!? I currently have 3.42s
Is it worth it for me to upgrade gears? Which ones? This is my daily driver and I still want to get good gas mileage.
I'm trying to get my car a tad faster and this is the last thing I can think of.

I have 3.73's and love them,but I don't think it would be much different than what you have. If you have an A4 you might change the torque coverter to a higher stall. I have a Vig 2800 and can light em up at will

3.73's was a very noticable upgrade for me...from 3.42s. I've now got ~500hp, and i keep bumping the rev limitor in 5th gear. So i'm thinking it may be time to go back down to 3.42's.

Transmission's out...bout to start removing the dte brace and differential...we'll see if anything sticks out as really wrong...but i think it's internal, and won't really know what broke until I arrives in Indiana next week.
We'll get you car squared away, just let us know
