First I would like to thank all of you. I've been reading your posts on this forum for the past few days and have learned a lot about the C5's.
I don't own one...yet! I'm going to run my '74 Chevy PU (full custom) through the Boyd Coddington Collector Car Auction in Springfield, Missouri next month. If it sells for what I hope for I plan on buying my dad's 2000 FRC. It is Torch Red and sounds like it is loaded. It has aftermarket exhaust (don't know what kind yet), chromed wheels (don't care about those, 18 & 19" Boyds will replace them), a bra, California Car cover and K&N Airbox. My dad is the second owner, and it has 26,000 miles on it. I haven't seen the car yet (we live in different states about 2000 miles apart), but, I know how my dad is and he has said it is mint.
Like I've said, I've learned a lot on these forums, but, if any of you have any info that I might be able to use, such as shortcomings on these cars, I would appreciate the feedback.
Thank you in advance and I look forward to reading your posts.
Welcome aboard, Todd! Sounds like you and your Dad have great taste in fine high performance American Muscle. Hope everything works out for you, my friend! Keep us posted!

Todd,
Welcome to the forum. . . . . I saw an earlier thread that said "Get the Vette, it will change your life". . . .
no truer words were ever spoken. Look forward to seeing pics of your Vette when you make the buy.
Later,
