I don't think the wave back percentage has anything to do with generation. It is just an individual thing. I always wave. If I don't, it's because I didn't see ya.
Not to get flamed here, but I usually wave at other sports car owners, Stangs, T/A's, Supra's, Vr4's, Stealth's, Camaro's, old school muscle, anything that looks like the owner loves it and takes pride in it. Because that's what it's all about. Like Barry Meguair says, "Car Crazy"
(We just can't help it that OUR sports car is better than everyone else's )
You know, this topic has been absolutely beaten past death.....whatever that is. It's not C6'ers - it's people who don't know about the wave. I get ignored about 50% of the time, regardless of the generation. I know this is going to sound unbelievable, but I get ignored by C5's as much as anything else.....can we finally put it to rest - please?
Just a newbie thing I think one time or another we have all been there. Just grin and bear with em, cause in a few days there will be another one just like this one

I find very, very few Vette people return my wave around Katy, Texas. I have decided to stop the wave, instead of having them look at you like your some kind of nut. Screw'em!
well last night on the way home from work, i got a thumbs up from a biker and just this morning i got a wave from a HOT chick in a convertible c6 i guess im just lucky!!
