Great line!!! No wonder you were reeling in the Vipers. Your line was way better! Keep showing them what that Z will do!

Excellent driving skills...you make it look easy!
The Satriani background music fits the video perfectly.

Nice video as usual Jim. It looks like your getting to be a real track pro. I need to get up there and check that place out.

WOW. That gave me a chubby just watching that. My accelerator was pressed all the way to my keyboard the whole time. Great video.

I must say I'm pretty impressed with how the Z handles and how it reeled all those cars in. It looked like most were simply "in the way"... No insult intended towards the other drivers of course, they're at least out there having a go at it! Damn, didn't realize the Z was such a competitor... Shows I have a lot to learn!!!

Great vid, really enjoyed it

A road course is a playground for a Z06. It's my favorite place to drive mine.

Thanks!

Great vid. I was impressed with how you were staying with the Vipers on the straights. Your driving was obviously superior in all other areas. My brother has a Viper GTS, and was on Team Viper with Chrysler and we always go back and forth about which is the better car. I'll be sure to show him this video and emphasize that Vipers are inferior to the Z in capable hands I've done two HPDE events at Watkins Glen, a very different track from where you were running. Looking forward to getting out to different tracks eventually. Nothing like a road course to see what these cars are truly capable of. Again, nice job driving.

Great vid, Jim! I really enjoyed watching you mix it up with the blue Viper once you cleared the other traffic. Obviously you and he were the class of the field at that point. It didn't even appear you were working that hard until you finally got past him, and then the fun stopped.

One suggestion for next time - as much as I enjoy Satriani, I like the Vette soundtrack even more!

Good Vid. What struck me was how courteous the other cars were and how inconsiderate most of the Vipers were.

First Viper didn't know a racing line from a hole in the ground... and tried to stay ahead by drag racing you down the straighs.

Second Viper was much worse. Would PARK it in the corners and drag race you down the straights.

Third Viper was using traffic as an "excuse" to put off the inevitable pass by you.

The Fourth Viper seemed to drive a bit better.

All the more satisfying to pass them when they are driving like rectal muscles eh?

I was at the autobahn cc today. I only ran the north circuit and recognized some of your video. I was a rookie and probably did about 15-20 laps and I figure I only have about 1000 more laps and a few private instructions to be able to run the lines you did and make it look so smooth. That was totally impressive. While I was there a red z06 from Wisconsin was tearing up the track. Those Zs are definately at home on a road track like that. They are unbelievable watch, I couldn't imagine driving one like that. Thanks for sharing the video.

Thanks!

This is the club I belong to, we drive the full circuit 10 times a season at the Autobahn CC if you are interested.

Was that last Blue Viper a SRT10 Coupe or a Gen 2 GTS? It looked pretty fast when he wasn't behind traffic. Either way I love to see Viper's go down.
