Sitting at the stop sign last night when I left work, a black C6 pulls up next to me. I look over to give him a when I notice it is John Rich (from Big & Rich).

He was interviewed a few months ago about his C6 by Corvette Quarterly Fall 2005, page 36-37:
"Rich decided to buy a Corvette when he saw the new model while working on a Big & Rich Chevrolet commercial in the fall of 2004. 'I asked if I could drive it one time around the parking lot,' Rich recalls. 'I ended up driving for about 30 minutes. I didn't want to get out.' "
"His new Corvette - the first new car he's ever bought - is a sign of his success. He bought it with the first royalty check he received for co-writing one of country music's biggest recent hits, "Redneck Woman," with singer Gretchen Wilson."
