I've had my C5 since February and had read on the forum about the wave tradition. Well this month I've had some success, after waving my arm off to other Vettes. Today on my way to work I passed 2 Vettes on a C4. Threw a and got one in return. About 3 miles later saw a C5 threw another and got one in return also. Makes you feel good when other Vette owners know how to wave. I was about to give up on waving, but now that I know some do exist here in Texas I'll keep on!
I've only been a "Vette Guy" for a few weeks now, but I have to say that I love the wave! My first attempt at a wave (to a younger guy in a C4) met with complete indifference, but my second attempt (a guy in his 30's in a C5) was a success. Go figure, but it made my whole day! It's pretty cool to feel like you're commiserating with other Vette owners on the open road.

Got another today by someone my age... Must be something in the air. As for the younger crowd, I'd tend to agree, however if you meet me on the road (25 years of age) you might be suprised, my generation seems to suck at being curteous. You are right the other two people that waved were older than me.
