I've done it in the C5 several times. Will be taking the C3 down later this month.
Living in Knoxville during the week has it's advantages

And like Rogue Wave said, the C3 Registry is having it's annual "gathering" in Pigeon Forge this year with a trip to the Dragon on the agenda

Have tickets for the NE Grand Prix on 30th June 2nd July (will get to see the C6's run) and I'm down in Groton. I've heard that the road up to LimeRock is a hoot. I'll let everyone know.

Dragon is amazing, but it's gotten blown up and is packed on the weekends. To make matters worse the law enforcement can be strict.

you can drive as fast as traffic will allow....use common sense do NOT lane cross, respect slower drivers most will pull over when they can to allow you to go by...make sure you hit the Cherahola..during the weekdays before 10am the Cherahola Skyway can be your own road...I just got back and we ran 18 miles without passing a single car..

a couple pics from the Cherahola

Default The Dragon

Every year my fiancee and I coordinate a huge gathering for 3000GT's and Stealths this will be the 7th year and it will be held in Robbinsville NC right near Deals Gap and lots of cars will be running it. There should be other vettes there (including myself) as well not just 3000GT's and Stealths. There will be lots of other types of cars too. We have lots of sponsors this year and this is a big show/gathering so if any of you are interested please feel free to stop by the Tree Top cabins. We will be running Deals Gap/The Dragon on Saturday. There will also be the famous local photographer "Killboy" taking professional shots of the cars running it. If you don't mind other cars and are a car enthusiast in general this might interest a few folks.

Our gathering is official marked on their website calendar for July the 14th-16th if anyone is interested.
