Try that out. I bought one for my GTO. I also just bought an '03 Z just yesterday, in fact. But since it's been raining around here since 1980, I haven't had the time to enjoy it. Once I get'er cleaned up and change my avatar and name...I'll be back.
I got my skip shift bypass from Corvettes of Houston. It came with good instructions with pictures. I can't find it or I would scan it in for you. Once I got the back end of the car on jackstands it didn't even take five minutes.
I figured the install wouldn't be too hard. I am worried about jacking up the car though. Do you have to use those adapters for the jacks that distribute the weight in two places? Also, are those jacking pucks a must?

You don't need the pucks. Just jack it up by the rear cross member and the whole car will lift. Excellent place for the jackstands also. Same goes for the front. Enjoy the car!
I would get a set of pucks anyway for the morons at the tire shops etc, who have no clue how/where to lift the Vette with a hydraulic lift. Otherwise, like FrogmanDave says, its not really needed at home.
