Great Kids
I have great kids! My daughter got me a gray C5 Corvette hat to match my MSG coupe (along with a few other things) and her fiancee gave me a real nice crystal 63 Split Window Coupe paper weight. Then they took me out to dinner too.
My son got me the Elite Engineering aluminum gas and dead pedal set.
It was a Corvette Father's Day!

My daughter saw me looking at a hat when I was shopping with her for her birthday present and remembered that. She asked me right before Father's Day if I liked red, and would wear red. I put 2 and 2 together and said if she was thinking about a hat, I'd rather have one that matched my car. I told her I had already researched and found the closest match, and where to get it. Good thing, because she had been looking at C6 hats! And the one I had picked out was cheaper to boot.
My son was the first one who suggested I get aluminun pedals right after I got the car. He's the one who got me thinking about it. Again, thanks to you guys here, it wasn't hard to figure out which set was best. So, when he asked me if I wanted pedals for Father's Day, I told him you guys wouldn't be happy unless he got me the Elite set, ha, ha. I gotta admit, they are super quality, but that is still a lot of money for two little hunks of aluminum.
