This really sucks. I ordered an output shaft an tranny brace for my 02 Z06 from them. When I got the brace in I noticed the directions said for an auto. So I called Corvette Garage up and asked if I could have got the wrong one, I was told no they just use the same directions for both. Well after taking the car all the way apart and trying to install a brace with only half the instructions found out....guess what its for an auto. The worst part is called to verify that I got the right brace to avoid all this. Now my car will have to be taken apart twice. I will be calling them to see if they are going to over night me the correct part to make this right. This is the second time I have bought from them and had some sort of problem. They did make everything right last time so hopfully they will step up again to fix this.
That sucks. Sorry to hear this. I see more and more of this kind of thing every day. People just don't pay attention and give a crap anymore.
I do HVAC work, and if I don't go to the wholesale house personally, with an exact part number, drawing, and digital photo... it never fails they send me the wrong stuff.

The problem is that they hire people that have no clue about cars much less a corvette. They totally rely on the computer to tell them if this is the right part. The Computer is only as good as the information that was entered in to begin with. Try asking them a technical question and see how far you get! Did they even put you on hold to investigate your concern? I totally understand your frustration. This kind of thing is not good publicity for them so I bet you they will step it up and make it right.
They put me on hold and said they looked it up on the internet, lol. Like I said I had a problem with them once before on something I bought from them through ebay and they made everything 100% right in the end. Im sure they will fix this, I just made the post to see if it was maybe a pattern with them or if I just have all the good luck.
Just got off the phone with them. They were not even aware that there were two differnt braces. They would'nt over night me another one but they are shipping me the correct one two day. I would have really liked to get the new one by tomorrow so my car could be finished but its out of my hands.
That's always something that sits in the back of mind when I order parts online... get the wrong part and I am stuck waiting at the vendor's mercy. At times when it's an option, I'll go to a brick&mortar, pay the extra few bucks for instant gratification.
I would expect specialty shops to be a little sharper than some big parts warehouse though. I hope you get what you need.
I've bought several things from them (exhaust, headers, shifter, just to name a few), and had nothing but GREAT service quick responses to emails, helpfull on the phone etc.
maybe you just had bad luck (or i had great luck)
i just hope people don't take 1 or 2 other persons' experiences (good or bad) as a "tell all"
Well I am two for two on them screwing up on my orders, so I am done with them. But on both orders they have went out of there way to make things right. With my business and schedule I can't keep having delay after delay because of other peoples screw ups. I still think they are a great company and sell great products, just may just need to work on the quality control in there shipping department.
