Here's an idea....let's ask the moderators if they'll put a sticky up at the top of C5 Gen on Waving....if you get one and you want to tell everyone about it post it in the thread. Conversely - if you didn't get one, you can post it there too. That way anyone who is sick of the posts can just stay out of the sticky, and those that are interested can simply go to the WAVE thread and read about it until their heart's content.
I like the concept and practice of the wave - but I really don't care to read about it everyday, or anyday for that matter. .02 deposited....
Wow seems like we just all need to get along, Wait that wont work to hell with it Im going out in my vette and drive instead of typing inside LATER SUCKERS
The wave is awesome. Whining here because you did not get a wave is not. People need to get over the fact that some owners do not follow the Corvette tradition. Stop whining about it, as a community. The community here knows about the wave. Posting about it is just redundant anymore, which is why so much of us are sick of it.
Haha. I agree, this topic is a dead horse. If you notice, this thread isn't really about the wave but all the controversy surrounding it lately. The whole point of my thread was to remind us that we need to remember ourselves. Anybody who dosn't give a damn and is tired of all the mushy-nice-nice stuff, that's cool.. Just please don't bust into the thread being an *** "Im sick of this, blah, blah", someone else will post something pleasant. We have alot of newbs around here, of which I am one, and while realizing my place among the senior members, I just wanted to remind everyone that the CorvetteForum is the best one, with the most courteous and helpful members, and without all the flaming-sniping-oneupmanship that goes on in all the other forums.

I agree completely, it's not important enough to start a whole thread over (most of the time). But the ones who are sick should "Save A Click"

cbx....
BTW, I don't agree that the newbs should "know their place". Everyone has a lot to contribute. Nobody is superior just because they've had a Corvette for a long time, or been a member of a forum longer than you. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Even newbs.

Au contraire, evidently you didn't read the fine print when you signed on. Newbs must wave to a minimum of 100 Vettes and start at least one wave thread to pass the Rites of Initiation and become full ledged dues paying opinionated member.
