Default Clear floor mat protectors

Awhile back I bought a set of clear mat protectors to go over my Lloyd mats. They had extremely sharp spikes and held in place perfectly. More recently I replaced the set with a new one from a forum vendor and the spikes are extremely dull and do not stay on top of the mat properly but rather slide around rather easily and are folding downward off of the foot rest. Are there different manufacturers of these or are the sharp ones not around anymore (they were really sharp, I could hardly hold them to clean them)?

Default Loyds clear mats

I ordered Loyds clear mat protectors with my Loyd mats. They are very sharp and also have same holes to fit over retaining tabs on floor board. They work very well, but do cost like $40 from Zip products.

I went to Wal-Mart and for $1 each picked up a couple of square clear mats. They don't cover the entire Lloyds carpet but a good part of it anyway. They also have the spikes on the bottom to hold em down. Keeps the carpet looking good.

Got mine from Eckler's several months ago. They are excellent, protect my Lloyds as well and have the long spikes. Except for showing a little brown color where my feet rest they work well!

Ordered mine from MidAmerica. Around 35.00. Does a pretty good job.
The WalMart ones did NOT work for me at all. I'm only out one dollar however.

I bought a set of SUV/Puck Up Truck clear mats, at Pep Boys. They cover the complete mat, and stay in place.

I got mine from Mid America and have had them for two years they work great over my Lloyd mats. They stay in place and never move just remember to attach them like the mats are attached you need to push the clear mat down and make sure the clip that holds the Lloyds mats come through the plastic mat also.

Looks like what my Grandmother used to put over her couch.

Funny, this is hard plastic it is nothing like what your grandmother put over her couch and my first husband was in the plastic cover business at one time and made alot of money from the covers your grandmother had on her furniture.

I'm wondering if your grandmother or Charlene might be able to hook me up with some clear protectors for my clear floor mat covers.
